The Chicken and the Egg

This is one I learned in outdoor Ministry class in Colorado. The game is basically a rock paper sissors tournament. Everyone begin as eggs (squatted down with arms over their heads) they find another egg and play paper rock sissors. The winner goes on to become a chicken (walking and squacking like a chicken). Players can only compete against players in the same form. From chicken you can go to farmer (walks around with thumbs in chest *like in overalls* saying "yup yup") to king (raising septor high yelling "hear ye, hear ye") to dinosaur (hands out like claws roaring) to whatever your mind can come up with. Always players can only compete against same stage as themselves and the winner always progresses a stage (untill they get to the highest stage) and the loser alwasy regresses a stage (unless they are the egg). This can go on for 15 mins if the interest level remains high.

I have had many youth pastors over the years ask me for my own personal recommendations on products. In recent years, this request has increased. So, I thought it might be beneficial to many to share on the site my personal favorites in different categories from Simply Youth Ministry.
