Kent is the pastor of student ministries at Northview Church, a non-denominational church with 13 campuses throughout central Indiana. With over 12 years of student ministry experience with church sizes ranging from 250-11,000, his desire is to see middle school and high school students enter into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ and help them put their faith in motion.
He was born in Goshen, IN. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University where he double majored Business Administration & Communications (PR). Student ministry was always something he was involved in even in college leading worship at churches and summer camps for 4 years. He did not take that call seriously until he had worked for a few years in the business world. Feeling unfulfilled, he knew God had other plans for him. The church he had grown up in, got saved in and was baptized in gave him a chance to be their youth pastor. He immediately knew this was what God had prepared him for all those years.
Kent and his wife Stephanie have been married for over 13 years. They have 4 children, Trey, Colby, Cayden and a little girl Kaly. Having a house full of boys means that there’s never a dull moment and nothing can stay clean for more than 30 seconds. In the very rare downtime with family, he enjoys watching college football & basketball, playing all sorts of different sports and playing guitar. He dreams of cage diving with great white sharks at Guadalupe Island and always flosses with barb wire.
